1. Data Collection & Local Storage
Car Booking Task is an offline-first application. All data regarding your bookings, drivers, customers,
multi-user accounts, and vehicles are stored locally on your device's internal database. We do not transmit your
operational data to external servers, ensuring maximum privacy for your transport business.
2. Device Permissions Explained
To provide full functionality, our app requests specific device permissions. We use these strictly to enhance
your local experience:
- Biometric / Fingerprint (USE_BIOMETRIC): Used exclusively to lock the application and
authenticate multi-user logins locally. We do not store or transmit your fingerprint data; it is processed
natively by Android.
- Alarms & Reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to trigger exact
background notifications before a booking's reporting time, ensuring your dispatchers are always alerted on
schedule.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to display the aforementioned booking reminders
and application alerts on your lock screen.
- Internet: Used only for basic app diagnostics, routing map queries, and facilitating the
"WhatsApp Share" URL generation.
3. Data Export & Deletion
You have full control over your data. You may export your databases to Excel files at any time. You can also
utilize the "Clear Old Records" feature to permanently delete historical data from your device storage.
